Marathon LED Strips for Long Streaks

Marathon LED strips bring an outstanding solution: Although constant voltage, they feature built-in constant-current chips in order to avoid voltage drops therefore a 25-meter streak can be fed from one end or 50 meters when fed from two ends. However, they are perfectly constant voltage strip:

- they can be fed by 24V DC constant voltage power supplies
- they are dimmable
- IP65 versions are also available

Summer parties are late evening parties. And not only to avoid the daytime heat but also because light is fun! And when it comes to lights, Nestix has a story.

Our partner, LEDvonal had that in mind when they were approached by a project team to supply them with an arsenal of lights for a rooftop party to be featured on one of the lifestyle magazines. "We knew the best is to take a one-stop-shop approach, and that led us to Stack of Brands B2B platform. Especially when you know that on the rooftop, the sky's the limit, whilst our budget is a bit closer to the earth."

Let us highlight for you two brands implemented in this project. One at a time:

LEDISSIMO Marathon®

These LED strips offer value when longer streaks need to be fed from one end. Thanks to their constant current circuits in the chips, the voltage drop gets corrected therefore streaks as long as 50 meters or 25 meters can be fed from two or one end, respectively.

This is very important in special conditions (like this roof top installation), where long distances need to be covered but chopping up the LED strip sections in several 5-meter streaks is cumbersome.

The Marathon® strips come in rolls of 30, 40 or 50 meters, depending on the density of chips and wattage. They are available in cold, neutral and warm white as well as in RGB and RGBW versions.

Longer streaks need powerful drivers that are reliable, compact and water protected. A choice definitely to be considered is:
